The Capital city of Paxos Gaios is located around a natural sea harbourwith two smaller islands with their little church of Panagia (Madonna) & Saint Nicolas.
The Myth has it that Paxos Island was formed when Poseidon, god of the sea separated the south tip of Corfu island with one mighty blow of his trident and dragged it south to create an idyllic retreat for his beloved wife Amphitriti.
After Paxos we will visit the wonderful Blue Caves of Ypapanti, Poseidon & Ortholithos. The Ypapanti Cave was used during the WW2 as a safe spot for the Greek submarine Papanikolis sinking many nazi ships.

The Poseidon Cave was formed by Poseidon himself by hitting the rcks with his trident to jail his wife Amfitriti after an argument and thats why there are three impressive caves together.

Last but not least we visit the Ortholithos Cave (Standing Rock Cave) an impressive pinned vertical on the crystal clear waters. Along with a great cave a divine scenery is there for you to enjoy!

We continue to the wonderful Island of Anti-Paxos locate 2km south of Paxos Island.
There are two main beaches at the north end of Anti Paxos Vrika and Voutoumi. The shore line of the first beach Vrika is sandy, Voutoumis shore line is pebble but under foot in the water there is white sand. Here you have some of the finest clear blue seas in the world for swimming and snorkelling, its safe for all ages to enjoy.
Antipaxos is also known for the amazing local wine it produced by an excellent local quality of grapes.
